The new Frankston Station is now complete.
Construction was overseen by the Level Crossing Removal Project, with major works coinciding with works to remove the nearby Skye/Overton Road level crossing.
The new station opened to passengers on 18 June 2018.
The new station includes a passenger waiting room, new station buildings, improved lighting, security cameras and customer kiosk.
Station platforms have been raised to ensure a smoother transition on and off the trains for passengers.
On behalf of the Victorian Government, the Level Crossing Removal Project is overseeing the removal of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2025.
