PLANNING CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION
PLANNING CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION

The Level Crossing Removal Authority is overseeing the new Frankston Station at the same time as working to remove the dangerous Skye/Overton Road level crossing just down the road.

Running these two projects at the same time will minimise disruption to rail users.

The station will provide a better travel experience with new buildings, comfortable waiting room, improved lighting, security cameras and additional passenger seating.

Station platforms will be raised to ensure a smoother transition on and off the trains for all members of the community.

The project will be completed in October 2018.
