The new Frankston station is now complete.
Construction was overseen by the Level Crossing Removal Authority, with major works coinciding with works to remove the nearby Skye/Overton Road level crossing.
The new station opened to passengers on 18 June 2018, with works continuing while trains where running.
The new station includes a comfortable passenger waiting room, new station buildings, improved lighting, security cameras and customer kiosk.
Station platforms have been raised to ensure a smoother transition on and off the trains for passengers.
Frankston Station car parking changes
Due to construction activities in and around Frankston Station, a section of the commuter car park and the car park at 122 Young Street will be closed to the public until the end of November 2018.
Seaford road and rail changes
Buses will be replacing trains between Flinders Street, Frankston and Stony Point on Saturday 27 October and Sunday 28 October.
We are busy applying the finishing touches to the Skye/Overton Road level crossing removal and new Frankston Station.
We would like to thank local businesses and residents around Skye/Overton Road for their patience during the period of major works.
