I’m Professor Tim Entwisle. I’m the Director and Chief Executive of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria during the day.

And in my evenings for the last 12 months I’ve been chairing COSEP, the Community Open Space Expert Panel.

So this final meeting is a chance to, in some ways, to sort of sit back and reflect a little bit.
[Vision: People discussing plans]

[Vision: Artist’s impression of walking and cycling path and open space]
We’ll be able to see how it all looks for this whole 22.5 hectares; and the 17 kilometre long path for cycling and walking.

And what I’ve found quite satisfying is the way that our community representatives have got in there and made sure we get the best for their local area.
[Vision: People discussing matters]
But also understanding all those complexities about, you know, what do the police need? What do we need for safety? But also what does the community want?
[Vision: Professor Entwisle speaking]
And everything was on the table.
