My name’s Jill Garner. I am the Victorian Government Architect.

COSEP was put together really to make sure that the voice of the community was integrated into the design outcome as they were developed.

I mean we understand community. We understand safety. We understand how to make sure a place is integrated.

In this particular project every location is different.

The best open spaces cater probably for every element of a community.

You’d have to make sure that every element has something they like, something that attracts them to that open space.

The skill of the architects, it’s not applying colour or decoration to an engineering solution.

It’s actually taking the fundamentals of the engineering solution and turning it into something that the community is incredibly proud of for many years to come.
