Terms and Conditions have been developed online with the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulations conditions set out in the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 and Gambling Regulations 2015.

Carrum Traders Facebook competition

By submitting an entry into the Carrum Trader Facebook Competition (Competition), you are consenting to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. There is no entry fee for the Competition.
  2. The Competition is open to current residents of Victoria only.
  3. The Competition will run from 6/12/2019 to 27/12/2019.
  4. To validly enter the Competition, a person must correctly answer one of three questions regarding the Carrum Level Crossing Removal Project (Project) on the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) Facebook page (one question will be posted by LXRP each week on 6/12/2019, 13/12/2019 and 20/12/2019).
  5. Employees, contractors and suppliers of LXRP are not eligible to enter the Competition.
  6. Validity of entries and selection of entries is at the sole discretion of LXRP.
  7. LXRP reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the Competition at its sole discretion.
  8. Only one entry per person will be allowed during the Competition.
  9. Three winners will be drawn at random on 13/12/2019, 20/12/2019 and 27/12/2019 (one winner per draw for the preceding week’s question).
  10. Each winner will receive a voucher for use at a trader located near the Project, valued at approximately $50. The prize must be collected from 640 Nepean Highway, Carrum within business hours (Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm), or as otherwise agreed between the winner and LXRP.
  11. Each winner will be notified via Facebook. If a winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts are made, a replacement winner will be drawn at random.
  12. Personal information is collected to enable the administration and promotion of the Competition, including the announcement of the winners’ names on social media or other promotional materials. Personal information collected, used and disclosed in connection with this Competition is subject to the Level Crossing Removal Project’s Privacy Policy available at https://levelcrossings.vic.gov.au/about/governance/privacy.
  13. LXRP shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or the Competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

School Holiday – Shop Local

By submitting an entry into the ‘School Holiday – Shop Local’ Competition, you are giving your consent to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. There is no entry fee for this competition.
  2. The competition will run from 6:00am AEDT on 21 September 2019 to 9:00pm AEDT on 6 October 2019 inclusive. No entries will be accepted after this time.
  3. This competition is open to:
    1. current residents of Victoria only; and
    2. individuals aged 6 years or older at the commencement of the competition.
  4. To submit a valid entry for the competition, an entrant must:
    1. spend the ‘minimum transaction amount’ or more in a single transaction at one of the traders located at the Mentone and Cheltenham station precincts participating in this competition (Participating Trader);
    2. complete the entry form;
    3. attach the transaction receipt as proof of purchase to the entry form; and
    4. place the completed entry form in the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) School Holiday – Shop Local competition box located at each Participating Trader’s premises (Competition Box).
  5. The ‘minimum transaction amount’ for entry is AUD$20.00. If the entrant is a primary or secondary school student in the Victorian school system at the commencement of the competition, the ‘minimum transaction amount’ for entry is AUD$12.00.
  6. An entrant may enter this competition multiple times provided there is a different transaction valued at or above the ‘minimum transaction amount’ for each entry.
  7. Participating Traders will have posters in a visible location to identify their involvement in the competition.
  8. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain and be able to demonstrate the consent of a parent or guardian before entering the competition. By entering this competition, entrants confirm that they have consent and LXRP reserves the right to verify this.
  9. Prize winners will be drawn from separate prize pools for each of the Mentone and Cheltenham station precincts. Entry forms placed in Competition Boxes located in the:
    1. Mentone station precinct will form part of the Mentone prize pool; and
    2. Cheltenham station precinct will form part of the Cheltenham prize pool.
  10. Prize winners will be drawn at random for each of the prize pools at 10:00am on 10 October 2019.
  11. The Mentone and Cheltenham prize pools will each have first, second and third place prizes as follows:
    1. the first valid entry drawn will receive the first place prize of gift voucher(s) to a total value of AUD$300.00;
    2. the second valid entry drawn will receive the second place prize of gift voucher(s) to a total value of AUD$150.00; and
    3. the third valid entry drawn will receive the third place prize of gift voucher(s) to a total value of AUD$50.00.
  12. The total prize pool value for the competition is AUD$1,000.00.
  13. Prize winners may choose the source of their gift voucher(s) from a list of Participating Traders to the total value of their prize. Gift voucher(s) will be available in denominations of AUD$5, $10, $20, $50, $100.
  14. If the transaction receipt attached to a drawn entry is for a transaction below AUD$20.00, LXRP reserves the right to verify the prize winner’s status as a primary or secondary school student in the Victorian school system (which may be determined by way of a current student identification card) to ensure the validity of the entry.
  15. All prize winners will be notified by via their nominated contact details provided on the entry form and may be announced on LXRP Twitter and Facebook.
  16. If a prize winner is unable to be contacted within 28 days after the conclusion of the competition or a prize winner is not eligible, an alternate prize winner will be drawn at random and notified through their contact details provided on the entry form.
  17. If a prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the nominated parent or guardian (who is aged over 18 years) of the prize winner:
    1. must accompany the prize winner to collect the prize; and
    2. may, at LXRP’s discretion, be awarded the prize on behalf of the prize winner.
  18. Vouchers must be redeemed in accordance with the validity period and terms and conditions specified on the voucher. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or exchanged.
  19. Unless otherwise agreed by the prize winner and LXRP, prizes must be collected:
    1. at the Mentone Info Hub - 116 Balcombe Road, Mentone;
    2. between 9:00am to 5:00pm AEDT on Monday to Friday; and
    3. by no later than 5:00pm on 7 November 2019.
  20. Prize winners consent to LXRP using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome). If a prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the parent or guardian (who is aged over 18 years) of the prize winner must give LXRP this consent on the prize winner’s behalf.
  21. LXRP is not liable for entries or vouchers lost, damaged or undelivered.
  22. Employees, contractors and suppliers of LXRP are not eligible to enter this competition.
  23. Validity of entries is at the sole discretion of LXRP. LXRP reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the competition for any reason.
  24. LXRP shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or the competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  25. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Carrum School Holiday Colouring in Competition

By submitting an entry into the ‘Carrum School Holiday Colouring in Competition’ (Competition), you are giving your consent to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. There is no entry fee for this Competition.
  2. The Competition will run from 9:00am AEDT on 21 September 2019 to 5:00pm AEDT on 6 October 2019 inclusive. No entries will be accepted after this time.
  3. This Competition is open to:
    1. current residents of Victoria only; and
    2. individuals aged between 3 to 12 years at the commencement of the Competition.
  4. To submit a valid entry for the Competition, an entrant must:
    1. collect a ‘colouring in sheet’ at one of the traders located in the Carrum participating in this Competition (Participating Trader);
    2. colour the ‘colouring in sheet’;
    3. complete the accompanying entry form including the entrant’s full name, age and contact information of a parent or guardian (who is over the age of 18 years); and
    4. place the completed ‘colouring in sheet’ and entry form in the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) Carrum School Holiday Colouring in Competition box located at each Participating Trader’s premises.
  5. Multiple entries from the same entrant are not permitted and will be disqualified from the Competition.
  6. Participating Traders will have posters in a visible location to identify their involvement in the Competition.
  7. Entrants must obtain and be able to demonstrate the consent of a parent or guardian (who is over the age of 18 years) before entering the Competition. By entering this Competition, entrants confirm that they have consent and LXRP reserves the right to verify this.
  8. Each entry will be judged individually on its creative merit by a panel appointed by LXRP and prize winners chosen on Monday 6 October 2019. The selection of the prize winners is at the sole discretion of LXRP.
  9. All prize winners will be notified via their nominated contact details provided on the entry form and may be announced on LXRP Twitter and Facebook.
  10. The Competition will award three prize winners with a first, second or third place prize as follows:
    1. the entrant who wins first place will receive gift voucher(s) to a total value of AUD$30.00;
    2. the entrant who wins second place will receive gift voucher(s) to a total value of AUD$20.00; and
    3. the entrant who wins third place will receive gift voucher(s) to a total value of AUD$10.00.
  11. The total prize pool value for the Competition is AUD$60.00.
  12. Prize winners may choose the source of their gift voucher(s) from a list of Participating Traders to the total value of their prize. Gift voucher(s) will be available in denominations of AUD$5, $10 or $20.
  13. LXRP reserves the right to verify that prize winners are individuals aged between 3 to 12 years at the commencement of the Competition.
  14. If a prize winner is unable to be contacted within 28 days after the conclusion of the Competition or a prize winner is not eligible, an alternate prize winner will be chosen based on the creative merit of their entry and notified through their contact details provided on the entry form.
  15. The nominated parent or guardian of a prize winner (who is aged over 18 years):
    1. must accompany the prize winner to collect the prize; and
    2. may, at LXRP’s discretion, be awarded the prize on behalf of the prize winner.
  16. Vouchers must be redeemed in accordance with the validity period and terms and conditions specified on the voucher. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or exchanged.
  17. Unless otherwise agreed by the project, parent or guardian of a prize winner (who is aged over 18 years) and LXRP, prizes must be collected:
    1. at Southern Program Alliance, 116 Balcombe Road Mentone;
    2. between 9:00am to 5:00pm AEDT on Monday to Friday; and
    3. by no later than 3 November 2019.
  18. The parent or guardian of a prize winner (who is over the age of 18 years) consents to LXRP using the prize winner’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome).
  19. LXRP is not liable for entries or vouchers lost, damaged or undelivered.
  20. Validity of entries is at the sole discretion of LXRP. LXRP reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the Competition for any reason.
  21. LXRP shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or the Competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  22. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Reservoir Shop and Win

By submitting an entry into the ‘Reservoir Shop and Win’ competition you are giving your consent to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. There is no entry fee for this competition.
  2. This competition will run from 16 September 2019 to 5:00 pm 31 October 2019 inclusive.
  3. To validly enter this competition, an individual must:
  1. spend $10 or more at one of the traders on Broadway, High Street, Edwardes Street and Spring Street in Reservoir that are participating in this competition (Participating Trader); and
  2. complete the entry form; and
  3. place the completed entry form in the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) Shop and Win Competition Box located at each Participating Trader’s premises.
  4. An individual may enter this competition multiple times provided there is a different transaction valued at $10 or more for each entry.
  5. 20 winners will be drawn at random at 2:00pm on the following days
    Friday 11 October 2019, Friday 25 October 2019 and Friday 27 September 2019;

(Fortnightly Winners).

  1. Each Fortnightly Winner will still be eligible to win the Major Prize drawn at 2:00pm on Monday 4 November 2019 (Major Prize Winner).
  2. All entries will be entered into the draw to win the major prize (Major Prize).
  3. If any winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts are made, a replacement winner will be drawn at random.
  1. The Participating Trader that the Major Prize Winner made the winning transaction at will win an iPad valued at $500.
  2. All winners will be notified via their nominated contact details provided on the entry form and may be announced on LXRP Twitter and Facebook.
  3. Fortnightly Winners will receive vouchers and/or products sourced from Participating Traders ranging in value from $20 to $300.
  4. The Major Prize Winner will receive vouchers and/or products from Participating Traders valued up to $1000.
  5. The total prize pool value for the Fortnightly Winners and the Major Prize Winner is $5,000.
  6. Vouchers and/or products must be redeemed in accordance with the validity period specified by the Participating Trader.
  7. Unless otherwise agreed by the winner and LXRP, prizes must be collected:
    1. at the LXRP Reservoir Office located at 978 High Street, Reservoir;
    2. on Tuesdays between 1.30 pm and 4.30pm;
    3. by Friday 21 November 2019.
  8. LXRP is not liable for entries or vouchers lost, damaged or undelivered.
  9. Employees, contractors and suppliers of LXRP are not eligible to enter this competition.
  10. Validity of entries is at the sole discretion of LXRP. LXRP reserves the right to cancel all or any part of this competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
  11. LXRP shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or the competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

On the bus competition – Reservoir Station

By submitting an entry into the On The Bus Competition (Competition), you are consenting to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. There is no entry fee for the Competition.
  2. The Competition is open to current residents of Victoria only.
  3. The Competition will run from Friday 26 July to 10:00pm Sunday 4 August 2019.
  4. To validly enter the Competition, a person must:
    1. provide their contact details on the On The Bus Competition Entry Form (Entry Form); and
    2. submit the completed Entry Form at the Competition box located Reservoir Station (High Street, Reservoir, VIC 3073).
  5. Employees, contractors and suppliers of the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) and Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) are not eligible to enter the Competition.
  6. Validity of entries and selection of entries is at the sole discretion of LXRP and MTM.
  7. Only one entry per person will be allowed during the Competition.
  8. Three winners will be drawn at random on or before Monday 12 August 2019.
  9. The winners will each receive a hamper valued at approximately $150.00. The prize must be collected from the LXRP Reservoir office, located at 978 High Street, Reservoir or as otherwise agreed between the winner and LXRP.
  10. Each winner will be notified via their nominated contact details provided on the Entry Form and may be announced on Twitter or Facebook. If a winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts are made, a replacement winner will be drawn at random.
  11. Personal information is collected to enable the administration and promotion of the Competition, including the announcement of the winners’ names on social media or other promotional materials. Personal information collected, used and disclosed in connection with this Competition is subject to the Metro Trains Privacy Policy.
  12. The LXRP or MTM shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or the Competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
