Caulfield to Dandenong Area 1 - Community Update - March 2018
29 Mar 2018
Major works are underway to remove dangerous level crossings at Grange, Koornang, Murrumbeena and Poath roads and build brand new stations in Carnegie, Murrumbeena and Hughesdale this year.

February was a busy month for our construction team
We have completed the elevated structure, all the way between Caulfield and Murrumbeena Station. The first sections of the canopy of Murrumbeena Station are also now in place. The canopy is installed in 4.5 metre segments which are assembled at a facility in Clayton before being trucked to site.
March promises to be just as busy, as we begin installation of the canopy at Carnegie Station. Works will also continue the ground level buildings at both of these stations.
Meanwhile, the construction team will be celebrating as the final span is installed over Poath Road, Hughesdale. As the last span to be placed over a road for the project, this is a significant milestone, and brings us closer to removing all level crossings between Caulfield and Dandenong by the end of this year.
