New open space design taking shape on the Bell to Moreland project

20 Sep 2019

At our recent drop-in session, the community told us where they want to see playgrounds, community spaces, landscaping and barbecue areas.

More than 140 people came along on Saturday 14 September to chat to the project team, find out more about the design and give feedback on what they want to see in the new open space that the project will unlock.

The first round of open space consultation in May and June identified some key themes important to the community:

  • walking and cycling connections
  • placemaking
  • landscaping.

Community feedback will refine the project design.

There’s still time to provide feedback online on the new open space – feedback closes 5:00pm Saturday 28 September.

Designs for the new open space will be released next year.
