This summer, come and explore these exciting new spaces

From Saturday 11 December to late January 2022, community members can access the newly improved Werribee Street and Cherry Street level crossing removal project sites and take part in an easy self-guided, interactive walking tour.

Join us for a community celebration

Join us to celebrate the launch of our self-guided walking tour on Saturday 11 December from 10am to 1pm at:

  • Cherry Street plaza near Woolworths and Bunnings for sweet treats
  • Werribee Street skate park beneath the rail bridge for a sausage sizzle

There will be showbags and special prizes for the whole family, and you can meet Richard Briggs, the artist who created the public artwork installed in the paving at Cherry Street.

The self-guided walk is fun for all ages and includes 5 interactive questions about the projects.

Simply scan the QR codes on the 5 key signs to discover more about the projects, how they were built, how they’ve improved safety and created new community spaces for the Werribee community to enjoy.

Complete all 5 questions on the walking tour will receive a drink from a local café and go in the draw to win a hamper filled with goodies from local traders.
