Turnham is two-way once more

25 Sep 2018

Turnham Avenue in Rosanna has been reinstated to two lanes of traffic. With works completed over the weekend, the team were able to reopen both lanes to traffic in time for the Monday morning peak.

We really appreciate the community’s patience during this period of disruption, including all the residents and local traders.

While traffic can now travel north and south along Turnham Avenue, the new bus stops will take a little longer to complete.

As a result, the 513 and 517 buses are still not stopping on Turnham Avenue. There are temporary bus stops in operation for these routes, close to Rosanna Station. They are positioned at the following locations:

  • 513 to Eltham – corner Lower Plenty Road and Millicent Street (400 metres from station)
  • 513 to Glenroy – corner Lower Plenty Road and Turnham Avenue (50 metres from station, outside Shell service station)
  • 517 to St Helena – corner Lower Plenty Road and Bellevue Avenue (50 metres from station)
  • 517 to Northland – corner Lower Plenty Road and Turnham Avenue (outside Shell).

The new bus stops will be open by late October 2018.
