Spend and Win competition wraps up in Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach
29 Apr 2021
Our Spend and Win competition to celebrate the holidays in Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach wrapped up on Sunday 18 April with four lucky shoppers claiming their winning prizes.
By simply spending $10 or more at any of the 42 participating businesses, shoppers received an entry form to go into the draw for one of four $100 shopping vouchers.
Locals put in an incredible 1200 entries.
Student Mae picked up her winning entry at Two Feet First Café in Chelsea.
Daniel, a local resident and chef at Chelsea’s own Alice Rebel’s Café and Bar, turned his takeaway meal from nearby Chelsea Charcoal Chicken into a golden ticket.
Local Chelsea residents Judy and Carole both picked up their winning entries at Soul Pattinson Chemist (Chelsea Central Pharmacy).
The Level Crossing Removal Project organised the promotion, as preparations continue for the removal of five dangerous and congested level crossings in Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach.
Major construction is set to begin in mid 2021, when we will need to close Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach stations to dig the rail trench, and build three new station precincts.
We’ll have removed all five level crossings and opened three new stations, by the end of 2021.
