Laverton hops into holidays

17 Apr 2019

The Level Crossing Removal Project team has been busy out in Laverton, working with local traders to put on a fun school holiday event for the community. We teamed up with over a dozen local businesses to hold an Easter festival for all ages.

The day began at the Laverton Community Hub on the morning of Friday 12 April. Families were tasked with an exciting Easter egg hunt, visiting traders along Aviation Road. Some sweet treats and prizes were available for the kids after the event.

This gave the project team another opportunity to connect and speak with some of the residents. This comes in light of recent night works and upcoming changes to local traffic.

We later had a visit from the Easter Bunny – a nice surprise to round out an egg-cellent day! A huge thanks to the Laverton community for making this day of fun possible. See image gallery below.
