Early construction at Old Geelong Road temporarily paused during Stage 4 restrictions

13 Aug 2020

In line with the Victorian Government's announcement on Monday 3 August 2020 regarding Stage 4 restrictions for construction, works on the Old Geelong Road Level Crossing Removal Project have been deemed non-critical.

All planned works on the Old Geelong Road Level Crossing Removal Project will temporarily paused from 6pm on Thursday 13 August 2020.

Temporary site fencing will remain in place near our site compounds and security measures will be implemented.

The health and safety of our workers and the community remains our key priority and we will provide an update on when works will resume in the near future.

For safety reasons the Federation Trail diversion around our site compound will remain in place, as well as reduced speeds on the Princes Highway.

The Princes Freeway off-ramp will remain closed until the end of the project in 2022.
