Driver training at Noble Park

12 Feb 2018

After months of hard work on the elevated rail and station at Noble Park as part of our Caulfield to Dandenong project, train drivers finally had the chance to try out the new tracks earlier this week.

Anthony, operational signal and route specialist on the project, describes his first trip as 'smooth and quiet... enjoyable to drive on.'

"There are no obstructions, nothing to take your eye off what you need to focus on... it was a joy to actually drive."

A great deal of work has gone into constructing this high-quality design, which includes smoother, continuous tracks, rubber pads which reduce noise and vibration, and a state-of-the-art signalling system.
