The new Carrum Station opens on Monday 17 February 2020. Trains will be running, mykis will be beeping but there are still some finishing touches to come.

Before we get there, there will be some changes to the way you travel during the construction blitz from Sunday 2 to Sunday 16 February while we connect the new rail bridge to the Frankston line, remove the temporary track and open the new McLeod Road connection.

From Monday 17 February you will be able to access the station from the southern entrance at Walkers Road via a new pedestrian crossing across Station Street. The main entrance at McLeod Road will open in mid 2020.

Here’s what you can expect on the first day:

  • station staff from first to last train
  • myki top-up and tap-on facilities
  • passenger information displays
  • accessible toilets for train users
  • Protective Services Officers on duty from 6pm to last train.

There will be no car parking or bike storage facilities until mid 2020 as works to complete station buildings, car parks and landscaping continues.

Works will continue to mid 2020 to complete station buildings, car parks and bike facilities, and landscaping.
