Over the past three years 29 level crossings have been removed.

Level crossing removal workers are set to assist with upgrade works to Oakleigh Station in Melbourne’s south east, with works set to commence in coming months.
A further 25 level crossings have been prioritised for removal, using the Victorian Government’s new Site Prioritisation Framework.
