Reynard Street, Coburg – level crossing and car park closures

Reynard Street, Coburg will be closed to vehicles at the level crossing from Monday 13 July to 5am Friday 6 November.

Car parking on the northern side of Reynard Street, between Railway Place and Sydney Road will be removed from Monday 27 July to mid November 2020. 

The pedestrian crossing at Reynard Street is open from Saturday 10 October until further notice.

For east-west connections across the rail corridor, pedestrians will need to use Munro Street to the north or Carron Street to the south

Traffic management and signage will be in place to guide vehicles and pedestrians.

These changes will allow works to take place for the Bell to Moreland Level Crossing Removal Project.

While we always endeavour to complete works as scheduled, dates and times are subject to change.


Vehicle detours

Vehicles can detour north via Loch Street, Munro Street and Sydney Road, or south via Station Street, Moreland Road and Sydney Road.

Pedestrian detours

The pedestrian crossing at Reynard Street, Coburg will open from Saturday 10 October, until further notice

Pedestrian detours, signage and traffic management will be in place during pedestrian crossing closures.

Car parking changes

Car parking on the northern side of Reynard Street, between Railway Place and Sydney Road will be removed from Monday 27 July to mid November 2020.  

Around 5 on street car parking spaces will also be removed on the southern side of Reynard Street.
