Princes Highway, Hoppers Crossing – changed traffic conditions
Temporary travel changes will be in place on Princes Highway, Hoppers Crossing until mid 2022.
Road
- One lane closed eastbound and westbound on Princes Highway between Werribee Mercy Hospital and Princes Freeway, from 7am Friday 10 December until April 2022.
- Service lane exit closed in front of 317 and 319 Princes Highway until April 2022. Please use the exit 80m to the west.
- No right turn from 323 Princes Highway service lane into Princes Highway from 7am to 5pm Monday 28 March to Wednesday 30 March. Detour via Old Geelong Road bridge.
- Princes Highway closed both ways between Hoppers Lane and the Old Geelong Road bridge (including Hoppers Lane/Princes Highway intersection) each night from 9pm to 6am Sunday 27 March to Thursday 31 March, and again on Sunday 3 April.
- Citybound Princes Freeway on-ramp closed from the Old Geelong Road bridge closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from Monday 4 April to Tuesday 5 April. Detour to alternative freeway entrances.
Pedestrian and cyclist
- Pedestrian and shared use path detours will be in place at the sections of the Old Geelong Road and Princes Highway intersection, including pedestrian crossings. Please follow detour signage.
During this time we will prepare Princes Highway connections to the new road bridge and begin to build the new southern plaza between Hoppers Crossing Station and Princes Highway.
