Blenheim Street, Glenroy – changed traffic conditions

To prepare for construction to remove the Glenroy Road level crossing, works need to be undertaken to prepare land and install site sheds at 194 Glenroy Road, Glenroy between Monday 29 June and Saturday 29 August.

During this time, 15 site sheds will be lifted from delivery trucks using a mobile truck-mounted crane. This area will remain in use by the project team until late 2022.

There may be increased vehicle movements in the area, as well as some noise, dust and vibration.

Reduced speed limits and traffic management will be in place during the delivery of temporary sheds.

During these works, the following construction activities will be taking place:

  • plumbing services to be installed onsite
  • laying and compacting crushed rock with an excavator and roller
  • delivery and installation of site sheds
  • construction of covered walkways.

Traffic management in place on Blenheim Street, off Glenroy Road.
