Bell Station, Preston – access and precinct changes
Rail
The customer service office, toilets and Protective Service Officer (PSO) pod have been relocated to the western side of the station (access via Isaacs Street) until late 2022.
Passengers can access Platform 1 via Bell Street, and can access Platform 2 via Bell and Isaacs streets.
Trains continue to operate from the station platforms, except during planned or unplanned disruptions.
Car parking
There will be car parking closures in the Bell Station precinct.
The car park (access via Garnet Street) is closed.
Passengers arriving by car are encouraged to drive and park at Regent and Reservoir stations.
This will allow us safely set up site offices at Bell Station, which will include the installation of construction barriers, temporary fencing and site sheds.
Accessible parking
Passengers are advised to use the accessible parking spaces at Regent and Reservoir stations.
Pedestrian
The laneway between Garnet Street and Gertrude Street will close to pedestrians and cyclists from Saturday 17 July until late 2022.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be required to detour along High Street to access Bell Station.
