Applications are now closed for the Occupational Health and Safety Advisors Program.

The Level Crossing Removal Authority, in partnership with some of the most successful and progressive rail industry operators and organisations, has developed an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Advisors Program.

The program will offer recently qualified health and safety graduates, and qualified and experienced safety professionals wanting to transition into the rail industry, the opportunity of an 18-24 month (customised to suit individual experience) paid position along with real hands-on experience.

In the first year of the program, all OHS Advisors will attend the LXRA Certificate IV Work Health and Safety course. In addition, OHS Advisors who do not hold an Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) will undertake this course and its prerequisites, to ensure all participants leave the program with the skills, experience and competencies to fast track their career as a rail industry OHS Advisor.
