About the Level Crossing Removal Project as a home project group
The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction. Our vision of ‘Delivering Great Change, Transforming the way Victorians live, work and travel’ is reflected in everything we do at LXRP.
LXRP offers recent university graduates hands-on experience on one of the most high profile infrastructure projects in Melbourne's history.
