Accessibility

The Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to people across the range of abilities.

This website has been built using code compliant with W3C standards. The site displays correctly in major web browsers and is also designed to be accessed using tablets and smart phones.

We aim to comply with level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disability. Conformance with these guidelines helps to make the web more user friendly for everybody.

We continually seek solutions that will improve usability and accessibility and strive to meet the required standards, however this is sometimes not achievable.

If you find content on Victoria's Big Build website that is difficult to access, please contact us and we will try to provide an accessible alternative version of that content.
