The dangerous and congested Toorak Road level crossing will be gone for good more than six months ahead of schedule, with traffic set to flow freely and trains travelling over the new rail bridge in April.
Work is ramping up for the removal of three more level crossings and construction of two new stations at Cheltenham and Mentone on the Frankston line, paving the way for a construction blitz in May.
Commuters driving to Werribee Station will soon benefit from more parking options as part of a network-wide works program that will provide better access to public transport.
The level crossing is gone and the new Reservoir Station is now open!
