How to access Narre Warren Station

Train services

Train services will resume at Narre Warren Station from Thursday 28 March.

The station entrance is located on Webb Street. Signage will be in place to guide you around the area.

Pedestrians

Pedestrian paths on both sides of Webb Street will be open. Please use the pedestrian crossing located near the Webb Street roundabout to safely cross the road. The new signalised pedestrian crossing near the station entrance will be operating by mid 2024.

Bike parking

A limited number of temporary bike parks are available near the Narre Warren Station entrance while we continue work to build a total of 62 bike hoops and a 52 bay Parkiteer (secure bike parking cage). Additional bike parking is available at Hallam and Berwick stations.

Car parking

If you drive and park at the station, approximately 80 car spaces will be available in the upgraded north western car park, accessed via Webb Street.

Approximately 20 spaces will be available in the temporary Austin Avenue car park until late April. The remaining station car parks will open in stages until mid 2024.

Alternative parking, including accessible parking, is available at Hallam and Berwick stations.

Pick up and drop off

Please use the available car parks to pick up and drop off passengers. Please take care to observe signage, use low speeds and watch out for pedestrians while driving in the upgraded car parks and near the station precinct.

The new pick up, drop off and taxi zone south of Narre Warren Station will open by mid 2024.

Bus passengers

Narre Warren Station can be accessed via the upgraded bus bays on Webb Street.

Touching on and myki

myki readers and machines will be available at the station. Passengers can also purchase and top up mykis at the new station ticket office. If you’d like to top up before the station opens, visit the PTV website.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms at the station will open by mid 2024. Until then, passengers can use nearby public toilets in the trader precinct on the west side of Webb Street.

When complete, the new Narre Warren Station will have upgraded and modern bathroom facilities, including accessible all gender, male ambulant and female ambulant bathrooms with baby change tables.
